We had a fun little Halloween night. Colin loved being a pirate and knows pirates say "Aargh". Jane was a darling baby. We went trick or treating with the Zollingers and had a great time. Colin would frequently linger at people's doors to get some extra candy. At one door I heard him tell a lady after she had put some candy in his bag "a little bit more". He was good to say thank you and woke up today wanting more trick or treating. What kind of a great holiday is it where you walk around and people give you candy? Not bad at all.
Brian's pumpkin offerings for this year. (Original Brian designs) Colin wanted one scary and one happy.

10:35 PMoh my God, how is it possible to cut a pumpkin this beautiful ??? Brian, you are incredible ! All I succeded in the previous years was THE usual pumpkin face ..and I was proud of it ! What you did is ART !!! I still cannot belive it! I opened the picture(the first one), and took few deep looks at it ! I can imagine how interesting was for Colin watching you cuting in those pumpkins ! Jane is so sweet in that pumpkin outfit ! It's nice reading about the way you go trick or treat there , since in Romania there is no such thing!Weknow it from the american movies, or from here in germany where they do that but not so much like in America..so I hope we'll have the chance, once in a lifetime, to be there, in USA, for Halloween !- Brandon and Becca said...
12:23 AMSomehow, we dressed our boys up the same for two years now. Last year, monkey, this year pirate. hmmm. I dig the pumpkin carving this year. Actually, your firey scary pumpkin doesn't look that angry at all. He seems quite content in spite of his face being engulfed in flames- susan m hinckley said...
