Monkey

Colin went to a little Church Halloween party tonight. He does not always love his Monkey costume (that he calls George) but he liked it more when we told him it would get him treats. All Colin needed was one treat. In the little trick or treating at the party, he first got a sucker and at the next person giving candy, Colin wanted to trade his sucker for another candy. He will get it later. Why don't we have more holidays were we walk around and get candy?

Colin loves to hide in our hotel closet, and look in the mirror (above).

We had to take a sleepy walk this afternoon on the Riverfront. About once a week, Colin takes a nap strike, as he did today. About 15 minutes into the walk, he was out cold.

Too bad you won't be in Washington for Halloween. Evan and Colin have matching costumes.

Hi April, thanks for the skinny comment (who does not like skinny comments?) Kind of funny though, when the photo was being taken I was feeling very sick to my stomach and had even wondered if it would be better to vomit in the river or on the sidewalk. Maybe having thoughts similar to eating disorders makes you look thinner? And my modern sunglasses are from the equivalent of a dollar store in Tel Aviv, Israel. (They have 5 shekel stores, so it is actually $1.25) With Colin as our personal eye wear destroyer, I prefer the cheaper sunglasses. Then I am just impressed if they last a few months.

And Stuckilicious, we are sad we cannot dress Evan and Colin as twin cousin monkey's. We will just have to compare photos. We are taking Colin to trick or treat at the Kansas City Zoo today, since Brian's schedule does not allow for traditional Halloween activities. (And I doubt we could do much trick or treating in the hotel.) Anyway. . .

I must say Ann, You are looking quite skinny in recent pictures. You always look great though! Missing you guys as you travel the world's most interesting gems.
